OpenRules provides a Graphical Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for business-oriented Decision Modeling that includes:

  • Decision Model Diagramming and Editing
  • Testing
  • Debugging
  • Deploying

Each OpenRules Decision Manager project includes the batch file “explore.bat” that starts the Explorer showing a view similar to the above one.

The decision diagrams are automatically built based on decision models represented in Excel. When you click on any diagram node, the proper Excel file will be opened and when you make changes in Excel they will be automatically reflected in the Diagram. Read more:

  • Decision Model Explorer provides business users with a graphical interface supporting Decision Diagramming, Live Decision Model Diagrams, Testing, Debugging, and Deploying
  • Decision Model Debugger helps business users to figure out what is going wrong with their business logic as fast as possible. It allows them to step through the execution of their business decision models, pause the execution at any rule or ruleset, and inspect the state of the decision model. And it provides all this functionality with ease-of-use!
